Some day they will resurface.
Most of these drawings emerge through simple rules governing when shapes intersect and how they cluster. A decade ago, while trying to figure out what to do with what I considered to be elaborate doodles, I took periodic trips to the photocopier to chart my progress. Ten pictures resulted.
I shortly lost them. The only thing that remains is the original.
How amazing to stumble upon a situation when the copy of the artwork is more valuable than the original.
Like Martian microbes, some day they’ll resurface.
